1:00 – 3:00 Boxed lunch and presentations.

Explanation and discussion of major goals of the Alliance:

How to lobby effectively with your legislator will be discussed again this year. Emergency issues that may emerge during the session will also be covered.

Speakers are: Lisa Guthrie Executive Director of the League of Conservation Voters, Kathy Kolber, our consultant for the event, Alexander Macaulay, Scenic Virginia and Piedmont Environmental Council lobbyist, and—if his legislative schedule permits—Delegate Albert Pollard.

3:00 – 5:00 Meetings will be scheduled with representatives of the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Historic Resources, the offices of the Governor, and the Lieutenant Governor.
